Foundation of LiN Primary Care

Bertina F. Lin, M.D., was born to an Internal Medicine doctor and an RN, so you might say she was predestined to choose a career in healthcare. After completing medical school at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, she matched into the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at University of Louisville.

Watching her father take care of patients led to her appreciation for healing people, but it wasn’t until she became a mother to a premature baby that she could truly empathize with the frustration of a complicated healthcare world for patients.

After the passing of her father and upturning of the world in 2020, Dr. Lin decided to take some time away from practicing medicine and focus on her family. Her goal was always to return to her patients, but in a way that she could genuinely provide the level of care they need and deserve.

Dr. Lin lives in Crestwood, KY, with her husband, two daughters, and three rescue dogs. She is currently in her sourdough and dance mom eras.

Mei is an almost 2 year old, nearly five-pound ball of fur and kisses. She has completed basic obedience training and is working on becoming a therapy dog. She loves people and doesn’t believe there is anyone who could not love her in return.
